Internal Movement/Transfer (non-contract)
Moving to a Higher Pay Grade: If an employee is moving to a higher salary range, determine their salary offer by taking into consideration the same information you would look at if they were a new hire. In addition, review the employee’s previous performance.
Staying in the same Pay Grade: If the employee is moving to a new position that is on the same
salary range, they are typically not eligible for increase.
Moving to a Lower Pay Grade: If an employee moves to a position on a lower salary range, they
are typically not eligible for an increase and may receive a decrease (if paid over the new range,
will receive a decrease to at least the maximum of the new range).
Moving Between Non-Contract and Contract or Between Contract Groups: Work with you recruiter for the various details.
