Overview
The process for employee departures at Fairview and HealthEast is as follows:
- The employee submit their resignation to the leader.
- The leader confirms the reason for their departure.
- The leader reminds the employee that they will receive an exit interview invitation and encourages the employee to complete it.
- The leader submit the resignation within 24 hours of receiving it.
Note: The employee’s IT access will not be turned off until after the employee’s last day. - Once the termination is processed it will trigger an exit interview invitation via email to the employee’s work email address.
- The employee completes the exit interview. The exit interview is a short questionnaire regarding their employment experience, reasons for leaving the organization and suggestions for improvement.
- Leaders should partner with HR Strategy to understand trends and develop retention strategies.
