NEW EMPLOYEE 30 DAY CHECK-IN
"Each new employee brings with them a potential to achieve and succeed"

LEADERS WITH NEW EMPLOYEES
Leaders should plan to have a conversation with each new team member around the 30-day mark and document action items in Talent Connect.
30-Day Action Items:
- Have a 30-Day Conversation with your new employee. Refer to the 30-Day Check-in Guide and the 30-Day Check in Conversation resources to help guide your discussion.
- Navigate to Talent Connect and complete the short form titled, ‘Managers Planning Tool First 30 Days Checklist’, capturing actions items from your conversation.
Important Resources and Considerations:
- Consider using the Fairview Commitments to recognize the behaviors of your employee that align with the organization’s mission and vision.
- Review the Department Orientation Checklist with your employee to ensure they understand department safety measures for your department and the organization.
- Evaluate your employee’s Learning Management System (LMS) lessons for completion. Be sure to provide them sufficient time in their schedule to complete any remaining lessons prior to their 30 days.
- Remember that ongoing recognition is important. Ask your employee how they like to be recognized. Our HEARTbeat program is just one way to show recognition to employees.
- Encourage your employee to explore the health and wellbeing services available to them by exploring the Employee Wellbeing page.

- New to working remotely? Visit our Remote Work page to access resources, leader tools, and an onsite Space Finder Tool.
- Enroll or make changes to your 403(b) savings plan by logging into Fidelity’s NetBenefits website. You can also call them at 1-800-343-0860.
- Change, even good change can be stressful. Take a minute to practice self mind healing to keep yourself fresh.
